New Thomson Android TVs To Launch, Starting at Just Rs 10,999!

With Chinese products facing a tough time in India, people are now looking for better alternatives, especially the ones that are desi. Taking the full advantage of this situation, Thomson is ready to re-enter the Indian market by launching a new range of smart TV. The French brand is releasing budget friendly Thomson Android TVs with “Make In India”.

Talking about the launch, Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO, Super Palastronics Pvt. Ltd, the Indian Brand Licensee for Thomson, said, “We are delighted to partner up with a leading and historic global brand lie Thomson. Thomson Android TV: Smart Models

The company is planning to launch 3 new models – Path 9A, Path 9R series and Oath Pro Android TVs. Let’s take a look at each of the Thomson Android TVs:

Path 9A

The Path 9A series come in four models – 32 inches HD, 32 inches bezel-less, 40 inches FHD, and 43 inches FHD. Talking about specifications, the Path 9A series also has IPS A+ panels, quad-core Amlogic processors, and quad-core Mali GPUs.

• 32-inch HD: Rs. 10,999
• 32-inch HD bezel-less: Rs. 11,499
• 40-inch FHD: Rs 16,499
• 43-inch FHD: Rs. 19,999

Path 9R series

Coming to Path 9R series, they have TVs with 4K resolutions with three variants – 43 inches 4K, 50 inches 4K, and 55 inches 4K. Just like Path 9A series, Path 9R series is also equipped with IPS A+ panels, quad-core Amlogic processors, and quad-core Mali GPUs.

• 43-inch 4K: Rs. 21,999
• 50-inch 4K: Rs. 25,999
• 55-inch 4K: Rs. 29,999

Oath Pro Android TVs

The third Android TV series is extended with 50 inches and 75 inches models. They are equipped with Dolby vision, HDR10 support, Hybrid Log-Gamma, MEMC support. In addition, Oath Pro Android series also has two speakers of 15W that supports Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Truesound.

Expected Price:

• 50-inch: Rs. 28,999
• 75-inch: Rs. 99,999

What’s More?

The new members of Thomson Android TVs also have more than 5000 smart TV games and applications. Other than this, the TV remote has special buttons for Google Assistant, YouTube, Sony Liv and Amazon Prime Video as well.

In terms of connectivity, the TVs offer multiple ports for USB, Bluetooth and HDMI. Users can also use Chromecast (Android) or Airplay (iOS) app.

These Thomson Android TV are tested and developed with Google.
