Bihar 10th Board Results Declared: Know The Important Updates!

The wait for 10^th board results for Bihar students is over. The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) declared the results today. As per the reports, more than 15.29 lakh students were waiting for the Bihar 10^th board results. The process was late due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Important Updates on Bihar 10^th Board Results

• Around 4.03 lakh students have got first division while 5.24 lakh have got second division. 2.75 lakh have passed with third division.
• As per news reports, BSEB has decided to award top 10 scores with cash prizes. The first rank holder will get 1 lakh cash prize and a laptop. The second and third rank holders will get a cash prize of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 each. The fourth and fifth toppers will get Rs 15,000 and a laptop each.
• Himanshu Raj has topped with 481 marks. The top 5 rank holders are as follows:

Rank 2- Durgesh Kumar
Rank 3 – Shubham Kumar
Rank 3 – Rajveer
Rank 3 – Juli Kumar (female topper)
Rank 4 – Sannu Kumar

• Around 1,019 students will be appearing for compartmental exams while 2.8 lakh have failed the metric exams.
• This year boys have performed better than girls. 6,13,485 boys passed the exams against 5,90,545 girls. The top three positions are also held by the boys.
• The overall pass percentage has seen a dip this year. With 12.04 lakh students(12,04,030) students clearing the examination, the pass percentage reached 80.59 per cent, which was 80.73 per cent last year.
